PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system where controllers are easily wired and communication immune to an external noise is conducted at a low cost even when a controller without a power supply means is included. SOLUTION: In the communication system where controllers 20 and a remote controller 10 are interconnected through two non-polar communication lines L1, L2 and a communication pulse is used to make communication between the remote controller 10 and the controllers 20 and between the controllers 20. Each of the controllers 20 (remote controller 10) is provided with a communication power supply circuit consisting of a communication line DC power supply and a communication power supply current limiter circuit, a transmission circuit 23 (13) in which a switching element is provided between the communication lines L1, L2 to form a light load/overload state of the communication lines L1, L2 which a command from a control section (microcomputer), and a reception circuit 22 (12) that detects a voltage level of the communication lines L1, L2 and that informs the control section about it.
