PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems of conventional facsimile device provided with a plurality of control sections and a memory accessed by the control sections in common that a battery used to back up the memory at interruption of power is consumed because of a voltage outputted from the control sections to a memory control section that is decreased with a time constant at the interruption of power and a through-current flowing to an input element of the memory control section to decrease the backup voltage and to cause an excess discharge current to flow through a secondary battery adopted for the battery. SOLUTION: At interruption of power, an open output is adopted for a data bus, an address bus of a control means connected to the memory control section and a control signal and an output of a bidirectional buffer of the memory control section is brought into a low level.
