PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable telephone set with automatic conversation function by which a user can automatically send words recorded in the portable telephone set so as to attain a conversation without utterance of a live talk that may trouble surrounding people. SOLUTION: The portable telephone set (1) of this invention is incorporated with a recording function, an immediate access and reproduction function and a registration function. The recording function records words required for phone conversations, the recorded words are registered to a start button (2) and a dial button (3) or the like. The user depresses the start button (2) and the dial button (3) or the like to which the words are registered and transmits the words at the same time when the immediate access and reproduction function is activated to attain a conversation without the utterance of a live talk. Since the conversation can be conducted without the utterance of a live talk, a state of an automatic telephone answering mode or a state of the portable telephone set whose power is interrupted can be avoided so as to allow the user to be ready for the arraival of an urgen incoming call with excellent user-friendliness.
