PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ion optode that has improved adhesion of a formed ion-sensitive film, has rapid measurement response speed, is compact and attached and detached easily, and does not require much time for measurement operations. SOLUTION: An ion optode 1 is composed by arranging two optical fibers 2 (2A and 2B) for applying and receiving light in an annular cylindrical body 3, a reflector 5 where an ion-sensitive film 4 is formed on the surface with a fixed distance from the end face of the fibers 2, a convex lens 6 between the fibers and the reflector for configuring a sensor part, and an opening 8 for allowing a liquid sample to flow in at the position of the cylindrical body 3 between the lens and the reflector. Light being applied from the fiber 2A is condensed by the lens 6, is transmitted through the sensitive film 4 where a coloring matter has developed its color due to the reaction with a target ion and is reflected on the surface of a reflector 5, is transmitted through the sensitive film 4 again, passes through the lens 6, and is received by the other optical fiber 2B. By measuring absorbance, the concentration of a target ion can be obtained.
