PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for aligning kiln shells which enables reduction of a burden of work and shortening of a term of work. SOLUTION: A device for aligning kiln shells aligns the positions of a kiln shell 1a on one side and a kiln shell 1b on the other to be concentric on the occasion of connecting the kiln shells 1a and 1b face to face with each other. This device is equipped with a main-body frame 11 disposed over the insides of the two kiln shells 1a and 1b and extending in the direction of the axes thereof, a plurality of extensible-contractible hydraulic jacks 12 (jack means) extending radially in the direction of the radiuses of the two kiln shells 1a and 1b from the portions in the main-body frame 11 positioned on one kiln shell 1a side and the other kiln shell 1b side respectively and a hydraulic unit 13 (interlocking operation means) controlling the hydraulic jacks 12 so that they can extend and contract respectively, in interlocking, by the same amount at the individual positions of disposition thereof.
