PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To offer a short cycle insert light source of cycle length less than 10 mm having excellent magnetic field accuracy and magnet position accuracy, and to offer a magnetizing method for that magnet. SOLUTION: Gaps of 0.1-1 mm are periodically provided at the gap direction magnetized magnet block. This magnet block 1 is magnetized by the pulse magnetic field. The magnetic field corresponding to more than one cycle is generated by a couple of these magnet blocks. The magnet for insert light source has feature of forming by facing the plural magnet blocks.
