PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image pickup device provided with a lens, a photoelectric conversion element and a photoelectric conversion element board holding the photoelectric conversion element with excellent vibration proof property that can easily be assembled at a low cost with high precision. SOLUTION: The image pickup device A is provided with a lens 1 that forms an image of an image light, a photoelectric conversion element 2 that is placed at the image forming position of the image light by the lens 1 and photoelectric- converts the image light into an image signal for each pixel, a photoelectric conversion element board 3 that supports the photoelectric conversion element 2 and a lens-photoelectric conversion element board support member 4 that integrally supports the lens 1 and the photoelectric conversion element board 3 that supports the photoelectric conversion element 2. The support member 4 is formed by metal injection forming of a magnesium alloy, has a lens press contact face S1 for positioning of the lens, a board press contact face S2 for positioning of the photoelectric conversion element board, and the lens press contact face S1 and the board press contact face S2 are formed in a direction in crossing with a moving direction X of an injection forming metallic die 5.
