PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of a digital signal processor used at present that has many limits when the digital signal processor is used for signal processing in a remote communication application. SOLUTION: The digital signal processor includes many processor units 110, memories 120, 121 that are connected to the processor units, and a cache 130 to which each processor unit is connected. The cable is used for communication among the processors. The connected memory may include a data memory and an instruction memory. The processor units and the memories are configured as a multi.mode receiver demodulation front end that can receive a signal digitally modulated in compliance with many formats and demodulate the signal in real time in compliance with nay of the many formats. The digital signal processor can be reconfigured to decode the received signal in compliance with the format of the signal. |
