PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To record image data with less deterioration due to a camera-shake. SOLUTION: A compact flash card records image data in prescribed timing as a still picture among image data received continuously from an image input device 103. Timing shifted temporally from a time when a trigger switch 100 is depressed is adopted for the prescribed timing without employing the time when the trigger switch 100 is depressed because this time way often include a camera-shake. For example, the recorder is provided with a vibration sensor 101, the image data in timing when a value of the vibration sensor is minimized are automatically selected within a range of several fields before and after the time when the trigger switch 100 is depressed and the image data are recorded on the compact flash card at still picture data.
