PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device, a display method and an information recording medium in which occurrence of a malfunction caused by noise generated during a power supply turned on is prevented. SOLUTION: A receiving section 107 of a display device 101 receives command data. An expanding section 102 successively interprets received command data when specific conditions are met and develops a display image. An image storage section in a RAM 109 stores the developed display image. A display section 103 displays the stored display image. The specific conditions are met between the time when the section 107 receives an equipment selection command and the time the section 107 receives an equipment selection release command. The setting of the condition is updated by a dip switch 112.
