PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state imaging element which effectively guides incident light quantity to a pixel. SOLUTION: A solid-state imaging device comprises a semiconductor substrate which forms a 2-dimension surface, multiple photo-electric conversion elements arrayed in multiple columns and rows on the surface of the semiconductor substrate, a light-shielding film which is formed above the semiconductor substrate while comprising a light-receiving opening on each photo-electric conversion element, a flattened insulating film formed in the light-shielding film, a micro lens formed on each light-receiving opening with the flattened insulating film in between, and a film of single layer or a plurality of layers formed on the micro lens.
