PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning device which is small and simple and is capable of always uniformly bringing a cleaning member such as a cleaning blade into press-contact with a member to be cleaned in addition. SOLUTION: The feature of this cleaning device is to have a cleaning member for cleaning a member to be cleaned in contact with the cleaning member, an elastic member capable of transmitting a load on one end part to the other end part, first and second load transmission means installed at a prescribed distance concerning the extending direction of the contact part of the cleaning member and the member to be cleaned and transmitting a load, which is given from the member to be cleaned to the cleaning member, to each end part of the elastic member.
