PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and a method for processing data and an information recording medium with which live broadcast or real time broadcast can be provided by controlling the time of data transmission from a server machine to each client by dealing with the environment for data transmission corresponding to the request of data from the client in unicast. SOLUTION: Concerning the device and the method for processing data and the information recording medium storing a program for data processing, the data processor (server machine 3) performs transmitting of compressed data to a client 4 by dealing with a server/client system environment using the unicast sent from the server machine 3 only to the client and a client guided protocol corresponding to the request from that client 4 and the data processor (server machine 3) is provided with an additional information preparing means (data editing control part 37) for acquiring the compressed data in the client 4 and preparing additional information for enabling live broadcasting or real time broadcasting and a data synthesizing means (data editing control part 37) for synthesizing the compressed data and the additional information. |
