PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for locking an input device of an information processing system such as a personal computer by typifying an input operation state by input operation that a person who is unfamiliar with operation does or unskilled input operation as an abnormal input operation state and making new subsequent operation ineffective when an input operation state corresponding to the abnormal operation state is generated. SOLUTION: Input operation elapse as a succession of momentary input operations of an input device of an information processing system is monitored and when the input operation elapse corresponds to an abnormal operation criterion, namely, when it is checked whether a momentary input operation corresponding to an input operation pattern is repeated as many times as the lowest repetition frequency in an input operation monitor time and if the state is decided so, subsequent input operation from the input device is made ineffective. |
