measuring technique, namely apparatuses for measuring loads acting upon rolls in rolling mill by registering deformation of screwdown mechanisms of rolling stand. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes deformation pickups arranged in inner cavities of screwdown mechanisms of stand of rolling mill in such a way that measuring axis of each pickup coincides with lengthwise axis of screw of screwdown mechanism or it is inclined by 90 degrees relative to lengthwise axis of screw and crosses it.
