PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance resolving power of display by reinforcing breakdown strength structure with fins to reduce the thickness of sideplate and to provide vacuum display element structure to make fabrication easy by taking out electrode leads through notches. SOLUTION: This vacuum display element structure is formed by surrounded with a front plate, an electrode bottom plate and at least one sideplate. The front plate is provided with a plurality of display regions and a plurality of non-display regions. The electrode bottom plate has inner and outer surfaces, and a vacuum chamber with a plurality of notches is disposed at its periphery. Also composed are a plurality of electrode conductors extending to the notches and the outer surface as well as disposed on the inner surface; a plurality of fins disposed on the sideboard of the vacuum chamber, supporting the surface plate, electrode bottom plate and sideboard, and located on the plural non- display regions; and a sealing material that fills joint portions of the surface plate, electrode bottom plate and sideboard as well as the notches.
