PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color display device which is small in size and is less in electric power consumption. SOLUTION: This color display device is constituted by mounting surface light emitting laser elements of red, green and blue on the surface of a movable plate of a planar type biaxial galvano-device and makes display by driving the planar type biaxial galvano-device and the surface light emitting laser elements in synchronism with video signals.
