measurement technology; determination of parameters of surface ships according to data of aerophotography and satellite observations. SUBSTANCE: method includes observation of ship in ocean. Speed and length of ship are determined by spectrum of surface waves excited by ship. Speed of ship is found by frequency of spectral distribution curve. Ship's length is determined by distance between spectrum maxima. EFFECT: simplified procedure and enhanced reliability. 7 dwg
