industrial organic synthesis. SUBSTANCE: production of methyl tert-butyl ether and hydrogenation of butadiene present in C4-stream used for etherification are effected by following manner. Methanol-containing isobutene-butadiene stream and hydrogen-containing stream are fed into admission zone of rectification column-reactor. The two streams come into contact in etherification- distillation zone containing etherification catalyst, after which nonreacted isobutene, methanol, butadiene, and hydrogen are brought into contact in hydrogenation-distillation zone containing hydrogenation catalyst. Ether is withdrawn from the column-reactor as bottom fraction, whereas top fraction has butadiene content reduced by 90%. EFFECT: simplified technology. 16 cl, 2 dwg, 1 tbl |
