PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a recording material having shelf stability, to reduce the weight of a cover layer without impairing its oxygen barrier function and to obtain a coating solution for a cover layer capable of high-speed coating and having low foaming properties and enhanced shelf stability. SOLUTION: The photosensitive recording material includes a base, a photopolymerizable layer and a cover layer containing a mixture of at least one water-soluble or water-dispersible polymer and at least one additive selected from the group comprising an alkoxylated alkylenediamine, an alkoxylated 10-25C alkanol, a 1-15C alkyl phosphate and a 1-15C alkyl phosphonate. The amount of the additive is 0.001-10.0 wt.% of the total weight of the non-volatile components in the cover layer. An offset printing plate is produced using the recording material. |
