PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a thin cell with a lightweight and high capacity at a high yield. SOLUTION: This manufacture method for thin cells has process of coating thin plate electrodes with armoring film 4, process of taking out lead terminals 2a and 3a of the above-mentioned electrode elements, and positioning to dispose heating type pressurizers 6 and 6' with respect to facing edge portions 4a and 4a' of the armoring film 4, and process of sealing airtight by heat-welding them by means of the above-mentioned heating type pressurizers 6 and 6', and is featured with pressurizing convex heating type pressurizers 6 and 6' having edge faces 6b and 6b' that can pressurize by partly avoiding the tip edge portion in the vicinity of regions through which the above-mentioned lead terminals 2a and 3a.
