PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device of guiding the travel of vehicle capable of simply registering a location even previously left unregistered, registering locations during traveling, and adding names which clarify location registration. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a personal computer 1 for combinedly controlling the whole device. A ROM 6 in which a program for executing a series of operations is stored and RAM 7 for reading and writing temporary data are connected to the personal computer 1. Map data 2, a setting input part 3, display part 4, present location detecting part 5, engine detecting part 8, location registration selecting part 9, and location history memory 10 are connected to the personal computer 1. The data of inputted locations is stored in the location history memory 10 as history data for every input, and the location registration selecting means 9 executes the control of selectively displaying and selectively storing the data of location names 9a, landmark names 9b, general-purpose names 9c, and any given names 9d. |
