PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for transporting and assembling winding wire for transformer, with which a winding wire is firmly fixed at transporting or hanging on the job site, the assembly work at the job site is simplified and working time is reduced. SOLUTION: A winding wire unit 1Z is inserted into a cylindrical support 12a fixed in a lower tank 11b, a balancing fitting metal 3 is arranged at one end of the winding wire unit 1Z, a rod 15 between the balancing fitting metal 3 and the lower tank 11b is fastened by a fastening device 16, the winding wire unit 1Z is transported while being fixed in a transportation tank, the winding wire unit 1Z is prevented from being damaged by shocks at transportation, and the working time for integrating the winding wire unit 1Z into an iron core can be reduced substantially.
