PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a route searching device, recording medium and searching method capable of easily setting proper relay points in searching the shortest distance path. SOLUTION: Based on a map data prepared in advance, a route connecting arbitrary start point and end point is reached and the search result is indicated on a display in the route searching device. A hypothetical straight line obtained by connecting the start point position and the end point position of the route to be searched from an arbitrary location, respectively with hypothetical straight lines are indicated with duplication on the map data. By indicating the hypothetical lines with the length corresponding to the distance from the arbitrary location to the start point and the end point of the route to be searched and a formed triangle, guide indication is given for showing the direction and distance from the arbitrary location to the start point and the end point and the direction and the distance from the start point to the end point. |
