PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent damage of a member in a towing run of a vehicle in a power transmission device of the vehicle used in a belt-type continuously variable transmission. SOLUTION: A counter shaft 9 is disposed in a power transmission route between a drive shaft and a driven pulley, and comprises a first external tooth 32 and a second external tooth 34. A power break mechanism 62 is disposed in the counter shaft 9. The power break mechanism 62 breaks power transmission between the drive shaft and the driven pulley based on a command from a worker in a towing run of a vehicle.
