PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic vending machine in which a filter arranged in the discharge passage of raw material powder and steam can be easily and reliably maintained and in which the cost of a whole device can be prevented from increasing. SOLUTION: Raw material powder and steam S which float in a mixing bawl 100 that is installed in a machine body and mix powder raw materials and hot water are sucked by the cross flow fan 2 of an exhaust unit 1. A filter 6 removing the raw material powders is installed in the middle of the inlet 1a-side of the cross flow fan 2. Steam S1 after the raw material powders is removed is discharged from the exhaust port 1b. A judgment means discriminating the operation state of a fan motor 3 by the number N of revolutions (or current value I) is arranged on the control circuit of the fan motor 3 of the cross flow fan 2. The number is compared with the reference numbers NA and NB of revolutions (or reference current values IA and IB) which are set on the basis of the air flow rate of the cross flow fan 2. The clogging state of the filter 6 and a motor locking state or a motor abnormal state can be discriminated from each other.
