PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable supporting equipment to transmit a support message to redundant modules without using a complicated and expensive interface. SOLUTION: Even though the supporting equipment 4 and 5 can not transmit the support message to the redundant CPU modules 2 and 3 until checking whether the modules operate in the conventional manner, this system allows the equipment 4 and 5 to easily and inexpensively access an operating side by utilizing a logical office number regarding the modules 2 and 3 of operation and standby as one module.
