PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote controller that uses a conventional mobile phone terminal so as to remotely control equipment. SOLUTION: When the conventional mobile phone terminal 10 makes a specific operation to control equipment 29, the terminal 10 transmits operation data and a reception antenna 14 of an equipment controller 12 receives the operation data. A reception section 16 demodulates the received data. An authentication section 18 confirms whether or not an identification code included in the demodulated signal matches a registered code. When the identification code is confirmed, an operation data analysis section 20 analyzes the operation data included in the demodulated signal. A control section 22 transmits a control signal corresponding to the analyzed contents. A corresponding device of the equipment 29 receiving the control signal executes a corresponding operation.
