PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily form a spacer with a high yield which does not influence the display and to provide a liquid crystal device having excellent display quality at a lower cost. SOLUTION: A black matrix 2, a color layer consisting of a colored part 9 and a non-colored part 5, a protective layer 10, and a transparent conductive film 11 are formed on a transparent substrate 1, and further a positive photosensitive resin composition layer 12 is formed on the transparent conductive film. Then a black ink 14 is applied through an ink jet head 13 to form a photomask 15, and the whole surface of the composition layer is exposed and developed to form a spacer 16. |
