摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the power consumption of a battery when an on-vehicle equipment is not used and to prolong the life of the battery in the electronic toll collection system of a toll road. SOLUTION: When a radio wave is received by the antenna 1-2 of an on- vehicle equipment 1-1, an RF circuit 1-3 sends it to a CPU circuit 1-4 making a wake up mode signal 1-11 a sleep mode state. Then CPU circuit 1-4 supplies 1-12 power to respective blocks. Since a driver sits on the seat of a vehicle when the on-vehicle equipment 1-1 is operated, the contact point of a pressure switch 1-7 installed in the seat is closed and the analog switch 1-8 of a self- holding circuit 1-5 is turned on. The signal is inputted to a control terminal 1-14, is self-held and power from a battery 1-6 is supplied to the CPU circuit 1-4. Then, a system becomes a sleep mode. When the operation of the vehicle is terminated, the pressure switch 1-7 is not operated and the CPU circuit 1-4 sends a reset signal 1-13 to a self-holding circuit 1-15, releases self-holding and turns off power. When the vehicle is not used, the power of the on-vehicle equipment 1-1 is turned off.</p>
