PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an EMI gasket for giving a low impedance mechanism which can transfer noise current in all directions to a noise current source, so as to reduce EMI emission more effectively. SOLUTION: An EMI gasket is formed of an elastomer core wound by a metallized conductive material. The gasket is pinched out, so that it is provided with one or more opened non-conductive edge. The edge thereof is seamed with a conductive material, thereby giving a number of conductive paths between the surface or edge of the gasket and the wall of an outer device. Thus, the gasket can give a return path to a noise current source for all directions and reduce EMI emission more effectively. |
