PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make speedily accessible a memory containing especially map data and additional information and facilitate addition and deletion of land marks in a navigation device for vehicles. SOLUTION: The navigation device for vehicles is comprising a memory means 3 storing map data and additional information, an input operation means for inputting various command concerning indication and setting, analysis means 2 and 4 reading the map data and additional information corresponding to the memory means based on the input command and producing the indicated data, and indication means 5 and 6 indicating the map and additional information following the input command including the present position of the vehicles shown by the indicted data on a map indicating screen, and the memory means is a rewritable semiconductor memory 3. |
