PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a determination accuracy of a slip state of a belt in a continuously variable transmission. SOLUTION: This control device of a continuously variable transmission comprises a primary pulley and a secondary pulley that are provided on the output side of a driving power source and a belt wound about the primary pulley and the secondary pulley, and can determine a slip state of the belt. The control device comprises a slip determining means (steps S2, S3) for determining the slip state of the belt based on a vibration state of the belt.
