CIRRHOSIS EXAMINING METHOD AND DEVICE TO USE SCENTOMETER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and highly accurate examining method for affection of the liver and a scentometer to be used for the same capable of performing tests without inflicting pain on subjects or the need for a technician with special techniques. SOLUTION: This examining method for affection of the liver includes the collection of expired gas to determine in isopropanol and/or cyan compounds in the expired gas and the analysis of the results of the determination. This scentometer for examining the affection of the liver includes an expired gas collecting part for introducing expired gas to be analyzed, an expired gas analyzing part to determine isopropanol and/or cyan compounds in the expired gas, and a data processing part to analyze the analysis results obtained at the expired analyzing part.
