PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a primary screening system for a material for improving wrinkles due to light aging. SOLUTION: Skin-constituting cells are cultured in an effective-component added system and non-added system, and the amount of polysaccharide polysalfide in the cultured supernatant of the skin-constituting cells is measured as an index to screen the effectiveness of an effective component. The skin- constituting cells are skin mast cells and/or dermis fibroblasts. The polysaccharide polysalfide is one type, two types, or more selected from heparin, dermatan sulfate, and their salts. In the case that the amount of polysaccharide polysalfide in the cultured supernatant is little, it is determined that the state of the skin is desirable.
