PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data processor in which power to the main CPU can be smoothly turned on and off always according to the ON/OFF operation of a power switch irrelevantly to the state of a sub-CPU. SOLUTION: A 1st communication control part 106A which is always powered receives a reset signal 210 from a reset circuit 204 according to the ON/OFF operation of a power switch 205. The control part 106, after being initialized on receiving the reset signal 210, detects a switch detection signal 211 indicating the state of the power switch 205. A copying function control part 207 and a 2nd communication control part 106B, when receiving a switch-OFF request signal from the 1st communication control part 106A through a line 209, sends a power-OFF permission signal back after a data saving process. In response, the 1st communication control part 106A turns off a power source relay 215 to power off the copying function control part 207 and 2nd communication control part 106B. |
