PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid problems on a lighting fixture for a vehicle having a reflecting mirror forming light distribution property that the illumination range cannot be wider in horizontal because of dimensional and positional problems of the reflecting mirror and the quantity of light from a light source can be used only in half or so in the case of each-other passing light distribution, resulting in a dark light. SOLUTION: A lighting fixture 1 for a vehicle comprise a reflecting mirror 3 having a first reflecting plane 31 as a parabolic system arranged on an approximate upper half portion and a second reflecting plane 32 as an elliptic system using a light source 2 as a first focal point and having a second focal point in the same half portion, arranged in a different half portion from that of the first reflecting plane for injecting a reflected light into an auxiliary lens 5, and a shading portion 6 provided at a boundary between an outer lens 4 and the auxiliary lens 5, whereby a light which ranges to a lower half portion of the reflecting mirror, conventionally not effectively used because it is an upward light, is collected by the second reflecting plane and used, with its free illumination range obtained by the auxiliary lens for compensating brightness and illumination. |
