PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an oil-immersed battery that can contribute to capacity expansion without weight increase. SOLUTION: This is equipped with a battery housing bath 1 that contains a plurality of unit cells 10 and tightly sealed with a lid 9, a pressure equalizer 2 that compensates pressure difference between interior and exterior by letting insulation oil filled inside flow into or out of the battery housing bath 1, and a cover 6 that encloses this pressure equalizer 2, and at least one of the battery housing bath 1, lid 9 and cover 6 is constructed with a metal plate of honeycomb structure sandwiched with metallic plates.
