PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an area communication device capable of considering the present locations of communication terminals, connecting the communication terminals to service stations, and providing appropriate services for the communication terminals. SOLUTION: This area communication device is provided with a plurality of communication terminals 11 with a location detecting function, a plurality of service stations 14 to provide services, and an exchange means 13 to connect the communication terminals 11 to the service stations 14. This area communication device is further provided with a service station/area correspondence database 12 in which the service areas of the service stations 14 and the relationship between the service stations 14 and communication terminals 11 are described. The exchange means 13 refers to the service station/area correspondence database 12, considers the locations of the communication terminals 11, and connects the communication terminals 11 to selected service stations 14. Therefore, it is possible to connect the communication terminals 11 to the service stations 14 according to their locations and to provide appropriate services for the communication terminals 11. |
