PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a silver halide color photosensitive material having improved color reproducibility and sharpness as well as improved suitability to development for high emulsion speed. SOLUTION: The silver halide color photographic sensitive material includes one blue-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer, one green-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer and one red-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer on the substrate, has a photosensitive emulsion layer containing 1st photosensitive silver halide particles having 0.15 to <2.00μm equivalent spherical average diameter (ϕ) and 2nd silver halide particles having 0.02 to <0.40μmϕwhich is <1/3 of that of the 1st particles and having substantially no sensitivity and contains a compound of formula I (where M is H, a metal atom or a blocking group, G1 is a group of nonmetallic atoms required to form an N-containing heterocycle, L is H or a substituent, Y is a substituent, X is H or a substituent combined to constituent C of G1 when the N-containing heterocycle containing G1 is, e.g. thiazole, (m) is 0 or 1 and (n) is an integer of 0-6 in the photosensitive layer and/or a non-photosensitive layer.
