PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device for forming an index print where images are classified in response to the user's request and also the classification is easily and visually recognized, as to the index print with plural images arranged in a matrix state. SOLUTION: As for the image forming device for forming the index image where plural images are arranged in the matrix state, the images are inputted together with tag information (additional information), then, the inputted images are classified into groups in accordance with the classification items specified by the user while referring to the tag information. Besides, in the case of editing the index images, the grouped images are arranged by every group, besides, the visual information (a frame surrounding the group, a background, etc.), is added so that the group to which each image belongs may be recognized.
