SOLID STATE IMAGE SENSOR AND CHARGE TRANSFER METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid state image sensor, and a charge transfer method, in which the number of signals can be decreased without causing deterioration of resolution or color mixing. SOLUTION: A color filter array at (n+1)th line (n is a natural number) is shifted by two columns in the column direction from a color filter array at n-th line and a control means controls a specific drive pulse being applied to a horizontal charge transfer electrode to transfer charges in a horizontal charge transfer path in the horizontal direction by 2m columns (m is a natural number).
