PURPOSE: A method for recognizing a music number of a computer Karaoke system is provided to enable a user to utilize an existing music number recognizing number even if a Karaoke system is changed by assigning an identification code to each maker and to manage the music number recognition based on the makers. CONSTITUTION: A method for recognizing a music number of a computer Karaoke system comprises the steps of a key input unit inputting a music number, a maker of the music, a code, and music selection data(200), a CPU(Central Processing Unit) searching if the input maker code is stored in a storing medium(202-208), and the CPU outputting music data by recognizing music numbers based on makers(210-216).
