PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing color filter by which high coloring accuracy can be realized even when an ink jet head having a plurality of injection nozzles is used. SOLUTION: The method includes an injection process to inject ink to a coloring member while an ink jet head IJH is relatively moved to the specified coloring member, an detection process to detect a position where the injected ink is deposited in the injection process, an injection timing controlling process to control the injection timing of the ink from the ink jet head so that the difference between the position where the ink is deposited detected in the detection process and the ideal position of the ink to be deposited to within a specified range, and a forming process of forming a plurality of filter elements by injecting the ink onto a substrate through the ink jet head at the injection timing controlled in the injection timing controlling process. |
