PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lessen the unevenness of temperature to set temperature. SOLUTION: A air conditioner equipped with a capacity variable compressor of which the operation frequency is varied with a frequency converter, a condenser, a decompressor and an evaporator are provided with a room temperature detection means for detecting the indoor temperature, a room temperature setting means for setting the indoor temperature and an outside temperature detection means which detects the outdoor temperature, and is equipped with a frequency changing means for increasing and decreasing the operation frequency according to the temperature difference between the indoor temperature and the set temperature, and a plurality of the decreasing speeds of the operation frequency changed by this frequency changing means are provided, and the decreasing speed of the operation frequency is selected by the outdoor temperature detected by the outside temperature detection means. |
