PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set up a prescribed program stored on an external storage medium as needed and further to enable to setup even for a person unskilled in computer operation with simple operation. SOLUTION: By simultaneously operating a power source key and a reset key as the specified manipulators of an input part 4 after loading an external storage medium 3, a CPU 1 extracts a setup file for program installation out of respective files on the external storage medium, automatically performs setup processing of the prescribed program and installs the prescribed program on a RAM 4. When processing operation for running that program is performed by icon designation on a display part 6, data processing is executed and data are printed by a printing part 7 and transmitted from a transmission control part 8 to other terminal equipment or the like.
