SUBSTANCE: bis-N,N(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-oxybenzyl)methylamine is prepared by condensation of 2,6-di-tert-butylphenol with aminomethylating agent which is essentially 1,3,5-tri- methylhexahydrotriazine in lower aliphatic alcohols such as methanol, ethanol, propanol, isopropanol at molar ratio of 2,6-di-tert-butylphenol to 1,3,5-trimethyl hexahydrotriazine of 1.00:0.67-1.00, and process is carried out at temperatures from 80 to 130 C.
