The bolt consists at least of two separate parts made for engagement with one other and for movement relative to each other. The first part of the bolt is made for coupling to the barrel after the cartridge case has partially come out of the barrel chamber. The first part of the bolt is made for direct engagement with the cartridge case, and the second part of the bolt is made for engagement with the cartridge case by means of the first part of the bolt.
