The productε.σof the tensile breaking elongationε(%) and tensile breaking strengthσ(kgf.mm-2) of the photosensitive layer is >=0.85 kgf.mm-2. In another embodiment, a photosensitive layer having a structure formed by successively laminating an electric charge generating layer and an electric charge transferring layer containing a high molecular electric charge transferring material is disposed on an electrically conductive support to obtain the objective electrophotographic photoreceptor.
