PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reliable seal material for carbon dioxide refrigerant suitable for the CO2 refrigerant extremely easy to dissolve and infiltrate into the seal material having a small leak amount, and to provide a compressor and a refrigerating system device using it. SOLUTION: This seal material for a compressor and refrigerating system device is an elastomer such as polytetrafluoroethylene having a larger diffusion coefficient to carbon dioxide refrigerant gas than a dissolution coefficient and having an osmotic coefficient to the carbon dioxide refrigerant gas of 0.38-1.36×10-9cm3 cm/(cm2 s cmHg) at room temperature.
